Calendar JANUARY 2025 January 2 - The caregiver/Parkinsonian split --Those with Parkinson in one room and family members and caretakers in another. Goal is to be a positive experience to examine resources that are available to each group which has different needs. Even if you are by yourself either with Parkinson or as a caregiver, we hope this will still be beneficial and you are most welcomed.
FEBRUARY 2025 February 6 - Kathy Schulze: She is a speech therapist and will talk about the Lee Silverman Voice Training, LSVT LOUD therapy or SPEAK OUT. MARCH 2025 March 6- Valerie Lynch is Pelvic Floor Health Occupational Therapist for outpatients at St. Francis Rehabilitation. Speech therapist Lexi Becker, will join in. JUNE 2025 June 5- Guest Speaker: Agenda: Michelle Shepherd, Outreach Manager, Parkinson’s Foundation-Heartland Chapter. Has wealth of free information and resources, such as printed and digital tools, to genetic testing and research. Has everything you need to live better with Parkinson’s. This will be a video conference. JULY 2025 July 3- No meeting in July, but we will eat and play bingo at 5:30 at Pizagel's Pizza & Bakery, 2830 SW Fairlawn Rd. Winners will get a $25.00 gift card.
